What to do while in Quarantine.

First off, make sure you STAY HOME! In order for us to combat this infectious virus #covid10 it is essential for everyone to stay home. Social Distancing is a must! I know you hear this all over but, wash your hands and take all the necessary precautious to prevent you and your family from getting sick. Only leave your house if you really have to.






Also, BREATHE! These are very hard times for everyone. Nonetheless, everything will at the end be alright. We will get through this and come back stronger than ever.

Here are some things we can do while we are #boredinthehouse and in the house bored. Sorry.... #Tiktok made me do it. Which brings me to the first thing we can do while stuck in the house. If you haven't already download the Tiktok app. It is so entertaining and also a workout! Those dancing videos are intense, they will make you sweat! Oh and don't forget to add me when you download it. (@rosyvelazquez_ )

Home Workout! I know gyms are closed but honey, don't let that stop you. There are many effective home workouts we can do. An app I have been using to workout is called FitOn. It is a free app with many workout videos. I also use it to do yoga. I have been loving it! I also use a waist trainer to kill 2 birds with one stone. I get my workout in while trimming my waist.

Journaling is another thing I enjoy to do. I have been doing this for many years. I have been doing it everyday now that I'm home. simply with all your thoughts. It could be anything you want to achieve or simply something you want to let out but don't want to talk about.

Read! I know not everyone likes to read but if you do, use this time to do it.

Take a log and a relaxing bath or shower. I find baths and showers as a way to get rid of any negative energy. So take the time to do that. Take a bath or shower and release any negative energy around you.

Watch the sunset or sunrise. I love seeing the sunrise and set. It is honestly one of the most beautiful things nature offers us every single day. It is truly a show life gives to us. I have seen the sunset almost every day. I don't get to see the sunrise because I'm not a morning person. 

Meditate. When you can't go outside go within. There is so much to explore inside of us. We must use this time to listen to ourselves. Listen to our bodies. 

Bake or cook something. If you love baking or cooking this is the time to do it and if you don't know then it's a great time to learn. Look up recipes online and get to it! I find it very entertaining and you'll reward yourself at the end with a delicious meal or dessert.

Use a facemask. Take care of your skin! Use this time to nourish your skin.


Do some gardening. Plant and watch the little seeds grow!


Create a Vision Board. Create a Vision of things you want to accomplish.


Drink Tea! Drinking tea has a lot of benefits, specially now during this pandemic. Tea contains antioxidants.


There are infinite things we can do like organize the house, paint or simply sit down and watch some #Netflix. Think of things you love doing! and DO IT! Write a to-do list. This helps me get things I want to do done. Dont make excuses and start doing the things you've been wanting to do. Start that youtube channel, that podcast, write that song. Think of this as a perfect time for personal growth.
