Potatatouille a la Rosy Recipe

Today I want to share with you a recipe of mine which was inspired by the one and only Ratatouille movie. Crazy? isn't it! It's a little bit different from the delicious dish in the movie because it's made with different ingredients. Nonetheless the concept is the same. Now let's get cooking!

1) 2 Russet potatoes

2) 1 lemon

3) 2 garlic cloves

4) 4 tablespoons of olive oil

5) 1 tablespoon of melted butter

6) 1 tablespoon of basil pesto

5)1 tablespoon of salt

6) Ragu Traditional sauce

7) Pam

8) Parsley

The first step is to thoroughly wash your potatoes and slice them into thin slices.

Add Pam or butter to your skillet.

Then line your potatoes on the skillet in a circle. (See picture for reference)

Season your potatoes by pouring a little bit of salt over them.

Then preheat your oven to 350F. After that, it's time to prepare your sauce.

In a blender add your lemon juice, 2 garlic cloves, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, butter, basil, salt, and Ragu traditional sauce. Blend your ingredients and you should be left with a delicious sauce.

After that, you'll then generously pour it over the potatoes making sure they're all coated evenly.

Top it with some parsley or cilantro and chives.

Then place it in the oven and let it cook for about an hour.

If you like it extra crisp broil it for about 2 minutes.

Bon appetit!

Simple yet delicious and different. ENJOY!
