This recipe I'm about to share is a go-to dish of mine. It's easy to prepare and absolutely delicious! I always get compliments from my family and friends when I make it. This particular dish can be done in less an hour.
Ingredients you will need:
1(16 ounce) package of jumbo pasta shells
4 cups large curd Cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
12 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 pack of Ground beef
1 pitch of garlic powder
handful of parsely
1 tablespoon of Italian (Basil) Pesto
2 tablespoon salt
28 ounce of pasta sauce (Prego Traditional Pasta Sauce)
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees f (175 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta shells and cook for 8-10 minutes; drain.
Cook your ground beef in a separate pot as you normally would.
In a large bowl mix the eggs,the cottage or ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, half the parmesan, add parsley, salt, garlic powder basil. Mix all these together.
Stuff cooked shells with ground beef and the mixture, add the cookand place in a baking dish.
In a medium bowl, stir together pasta sauce and reserved mozzarella and parmesan cheese. You over stuffed shell.
Bake in preheated oven 45 to 60 minutes, until edges are bubbly and shells are lightly set.
Serve and enjoy!
