It's not a secret that we all at some point need some time to just relax. Whether it's because you've had a long day or simply because you deserve it. We owe it to ourselves! Self-care is extremely important for our wellbeing. Honestly, I can go on and on telling you why self-care is necessary but at this point, you should know that. We need at least an hour a day to just relax and do things that make us feel good. One of my favorite ways to just relax and enjoy a little me-time is by taking a long relaxing bath. But not just any bath, it's a bath that I guarantee will make you feel like a brand new person.
Things you'll need:
1) Candle or candles of your choice
2) Facemask of your choice
3) Rose petals
4) Bath salts
5) Bath bomb
6) Essential oil of your choice
7) Cologne of your choice
8) Liquid body soap
9) High Frequency Meditation Music
10) A glass of your favorite wine
11) Healing crystals
Once we have gathered all our products. It's time to prepare the bathtub. Place your candles in the corner of your bathtub where it's safe and light them up. Start to fill up the tub and while it's filling up grab your liquid body soap and squeeze a generous amount into the tub as you are running the water. Some bubbles should appear. When the bathtub is filled then it's time to add the rose petals and bath salts. I usually like to use white rose petals for my baths. The white petals symbolize purity. Add as many rose petals as desired into tub and then add some bath salts into the water. Also, you may use bath salts or Himalayan Pink salt rocks which work just as well. Once you've done that you can go ahead and add a few drops of your essential oil into the water. I usually use eucalyptus and lavender essential oils just because they are said to be stress relievers, and because they smell amazing. Last but not least in our Bathtub prepping is to add a few drops of cologne into the water. Once you've done that then we can let the water soak in all the goodies for a few minutes while we pour ourselves a glass of wine and put on a facemask. If you're using healing crystals. Make sure you cleanse them with running water under the sink and then place them by the candles. The next step is to play some High-Frequency meditation music. Throw your Bath bomb into the water and let ME time begin!
Just sit in the bathtub and relax. Feel the water around you, the music and your thoughts. Close your eyes because this is the moment to go within and bring out the best inside ourselves. Forget about the external and feel what's inside. Just relax! Drink your wine, enjoy your mask, and the pretty bath bomb colors in the water. This moment when it's all about you is truly magical. Use it to meditate or do whatever makes you feel good. Don't underestimate the power of self-care. It shouldn't be an option, it is necessary.
